Netvibes GTD tab

Since a couple of weeks, I’ve been using Netvibes as my main startup page. I tried several of these dashboard/aggregator kind of pages but Netvibes gives me…well…good vibes. I have several tabs with the most important information for me to see in a glance. On my personal page I see my Gmail, Google Calendar, Mint referrers for this website, important news here in Holland a few other newspages. See for yourself. I erased some info on the calendar for personal purposes.
Netvibes also supports other-than-RSS content like Flickr-photos, searchpanes, Writely documents and eBay integration. Very interesting which gives me the chance to write about it some more in the future, perhaps a sort of “tips and tricks on netvibes”? Anyone interested in this?
One other thing Netvibes comes with are keyboard-shortcuts, yay! With the arrow buttons, enter, the keys n,p,k,j and some other combinations, I can quickly run through the messages.
Anyway, as you can see I have several tabs and one of them is a GTD tab. Ofcourse, this comes with a few resources found on the ‘Net about GTD. I decided to open up this tab for other Netvibes users. So you can use this link to get a GTD-tab in your own Netvibes-page.
Let me know if you plan on using Netvibes or if you already use it, what are your thoughts about it?

Thanks for the link! I’m a big GTD fan and have also been very taken with NetVibes. One click on your link and the GTD tab was created on my NetVibes page. Cool!

I love NetVibes! I too have a GTD tab but it is mostly todo lists. Now, I’ve discovered MonkeyGTD and wish I could integrate that into a netvibes tab!

Thanks for this Punkey. I have added your GTD page to my Netvibes. I am in the process of writing up my implementation of “Milky GTD” a ‘keep-it-simple’ GTD with Remeber The Milk at it’s core. I use Netvibes as a dashboard (it could be any start page but i really like the look and feel and community of netvibes)

Looking forward to your Netvibes tips

@Len: Glad I could be of help with you!
@Douglas: MonkeyGTD, sounds interesting…Perhaps you can make your own Netvibes-addin with this wiki-style system?
@Browsnik: Look forward to your journey into Milky GTD! Good luck and have fun!

Neat post – I hadn’t seen Netvibes before. I’d be curious to hear which modules you’d recommend for managing the GTD lists. I found Sproutliner…

Finally, thank you very much for including me on your “GTD” tab, Punkey. Much appreciated!

I agree that it’s a GREAT application!nnHere are my two cents: http://manuelhp42.blogspot.com/2006/10/g..
I am making a bet that Google will take them over. What do you think?

I’ve been using Netvibes for at least a year and created a Productivity tab that features about 10 feeds dealing with GTD and productivity ever since they introduced tabs. Netvibes is fantastic and the home page on all of my computers.

@Matthew: You’re welcome! Happy to help
@Manny: Interesting comment on Google and Netvibes. I look forward to your piece of gum :-)
@Angel: Do you care to share your tab with us?

I’ve tried them all and Netvibes is, imho, the best…been using it for over a year. Easiest to use and organize.

Thanks for the tab link! I’m a PhD student, and I find Netvibes great to have an overall view of the news in my field. I also use a small to do list for things to research online, as well as email and search functions. I’ve introduced it to several co-workers who were hooked from the start. This is a great tool!

Douglas: In case you check back, I use MonkeyGTD (as best I can so far – I’ve actually just started using it). I have it in my webspace and then I pull it into Netvibes using the Bitty Browser
